Gameplay is a tense, atmospheric roguelike. The world is rendered in stark ASCII art, where `#` are crumbling walls, `~` are ash drifts, and `@` is you. Ghostly memories appear as flickering letters (`M`). The Abyss itself is a creeping wall of `%`, slowly filling the map.

Each memory you collect grants a glyph. Combine glyphs in your inventory to carve runes with effects: `[FIRE]` clears ash, `[WARD]` temporarily holds back the storm, `[EYE]` reveals hidden paths. But the Abyss adapts. Use fire too often, and fire-resistant `&` creatures emerge.
